St. John's Missionary Baptist Church invites all women and girls age 8 and up to their annual Women and Girl's Retreat on Saturday, October 16th at the Webster Conference Center, 2601 N. Ohio in Salina. The theme of this year's retreat is "I Can — God Is Able," based on Philippians 4:13 . Participate in a variety of outdoor activities and workshops, including a ropes course and a Bible Knowledge Challenge. Be encouraged by Linessa Walker Frazier, the guest speaker for the evening service beginning at 5pm. The retreat lasts all day, from 7am to 7pm, and registration starts at 8:30am.
