Salina Christian Academy is an independent Christian school serving more than 180 students from preschool through high school. The David Traylor Zoo in Emporia has a Kidzoocation planned for your kids! It's a chance for children ages 4-7 years old to explore desert and rainforest environments and the animals and plants that inhabit them. Kids will also have an opportunity to take home a terrarium (rainforest) or desertarium (desert) of their own! Pre-registration is necessary by noon on February 16th. Junction City Church of the Nazarene will host "The Face to Faith" organization's free workshop for area teachers and administrators on Saturday, February 18th from 9am-2pm. This interactive workshop will focus on the civic and legal principles that govern teaching about culture and belief, including religion, in the public school classroom. Elyria Christian School will host a benefit Chicken Noodle Dinner at the McPherson 4H building on Tuesday, February 21st from 11am-7pm. The price is your free will donation! The fourth annual Love Chloe Foundation's Scrapbooking Crop and Craft Day is Saturday, February 25th. Doors will open at the St. Mary's Parish Hall in Salina, 230 East Cloud, at 8:30am.
