Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve's 6th annual Prairie Quilt Display will be held all three days of the Labor Day holiday weekend. Quilts have been donated over the years to the historical society from local residents and include quilts dating as early as 1891. This year's quilt display will be held in the historic limestone ranch house rather than its usual location of the historic barn. The Preserve is located two miles north of Strong City on Kansas State Highway 177. All programs and activities are free of charge. For more information call 620-273-8494.
