The Humane Society of the Flint Hills will hold their third annual Dog House Build on Sunday, September 18th at the Anderson Building, located on the Lyon County Fairgrounds in Emporia. All dog houses built will be given away to senior citizens and low income families that don't have appropriate shelter for their dogs. If you live in the Flint Hills area and could use a dog house, contact the Humane Society of the Flint Hills at 620-342-4477.
