The Salina Rescue Mission is launching a fundraiser, "Freedom from Hunger" at participating Kwik Shop locations in Salina, Abilene, Ellsworth, McPherson, Manhattan, and Hays. The fundraiser will run through July 7th to help provide meals to the men at the mission. The Salina Rescue Mission serves the homeless and those in need in an area stretching from east of Salina to the Colorado state line, and as far north as Hastings, Nebraska, and south to Wichita. A one dollar donation will help provide a hearty, nutritious meal for a homeless man.
